MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH/20TH CENTURY
Of baluster shape with a moulded neck and rim, painted with mirroring images of a family in an interior to one side, the figures wearing rich Heian-style garments; the reverse with an Immortal and his armour-clad attendants; all reserved on brocade patterns, geometrical designs and medallions enclosing mythical creatures, both vases with a band of lappets above the foot and further geometric bands to the neck, each inscribed Kinkozan zo, each 45.5cm.
