Richly decorated in gilt and polychrome enamels, the well with Immortals and attendants surrounded by many birds, flowers, a peacock and a dragon on a ground of gilt dots and wavy patterns, the rim with a band of key fret; the outside with many shaped panels containing sages, boys and beauties, alternating with views of multi-story pagodas in mountainous landscapes, all reserved on a ground of further gilt dots, the rim with a band of brocade patterns, the base signed Meizan, 12.5cm.
