Painted in ink and colour on a gold ground with morning glories amongst bamboo, the branches partly obscured by scrolling clouds, 172cm x 180cm.
Provenance: from the collection of James Benson OBE (1925-2018), purchased from Milne Henderson Oriental Art, London. James 'Jimmy' Benson worked as a submariner during World War II and later became the Vice Chairman of marketing company Oglivy & Mather International.
