FOUR JAPANESE WOOD NETSUKE
EDO PERIOD AND LATER, 18TH CENTURY AND LATER
Two carved as tanuki racoon dogs, one reclining with its belly lacquered and the other dressed in a kimono and reading a book open on its enlarged scrotum; the third a kirin on an oblong base, and the last a man surprised by its tea kettle turning into a tanuki, 5cm. (4)
