EDO AND MEIJI PERIOD, 18TH AND 19TH CENTURY

Two in ivory, one carved as a monkey seated on a rock and scratching his head, the other Gama Sennin, the Immortal typically depicted wearing mugwort leaves and with his pet toad clinging onto his shoulder, together with a stag antler netsuke of a traveller with a wide brimmed hat and a walking stick, 8.5cm max.
