With a tall rim, the well painted in underglaze blue with a flowering prunus tree, pine and weeping willow on rocky outcrops by the water's edge, with horizontal clouds above; the cavetto with a band of flowerheads and scrolling tendrils, the rim with a brown edge; the reverse with another floral band and leafy scrolls; with a tomobako (wood box), 20.9cm.
