HEISEI ERA, 20TH/21ST CENTURY
The baluster vase with a flared neck, decorated to one side with leafy sprays of peony and bush clovers, the reverse with chrysanthemum; all painted in underglaze blue and red, cyan and yellow enamels; the base inscribed Imaemon, with a tomobako (wood box) inscribed Nishiki hana-e kabin (polychrome vase with floral decoration) and Hizen Arita Imaemon zo (Hizen, Arita, made by Imaemon) with a red seal for Imaemon, 22cm.
