SEVEN JAPANESE IRO-NABESHIMA DISHES BY THE IMAEMON WORKSHOP

Five forming a set, painted with the same floral design, the two other dishes decorated with chrysanthemum; all with an underglaze blue mark underneath for Imaemon; in a tomobako (wood box) inscribed Nishiki seiyo-aoi go-meibutsu zara (polychrome set of five dishes with hollyhock) and Hizen, Arita, Imaemon with Imaizumi Tōen seal, 16.5cm max. (8)
