Both of rectangular form with hinged lids, the largest decorated with an owl perched on a sparsely leafed tree, a moon crescent beside it, the sides with birds in flight above waves; the smaller stamp box with a lone sailboat on a lake; both boxes with the Nogawa trademark underneath; 4.9cm x 8cm x 11.8cm and 1.7cm x 4.2cm x 5.8cm.
