The elegant vessel with an elongated, pear-shaped body, raised on a rounded foot and rising to a slightly flared neck; embellished with depictions of many birds, some in flight, others pecking the ground, with borders of lappets with floral designs above the foot and below the rim; all rendered in colourful enamels on the dark midnight-blue ground; 30.8cm.
