MEIJI ERA, 19TH/20TH CENTURY
Of rectangular shape, decorated with a still life featuring flowering branches of prunus, magnolia and peony in vases on a low table, with a picture to the side depicting a landscape, all embroidered with gold and colourful threads; signed Mitsuzō on a label to the right, the reverse with an inscription reading as 'sky-blue satin, embroidered silk fabric'; in a gilded frame and glazed, 68cm x 60cm.
