The ovoid body decorated with a delicate design of a small lemon-yellow butterfly fluttering above irises and other flowers, on a dark midnight-blue ground, with a silver rim and foot, the base with four chiselled cursive characters on a silver plaque reading Kyoto Namikawa, 8cm.
