The baluster body with a short everted rim, decorated with a small bird perched on a stem of bamboo and surrounded by daffodils, Nihon Suisen, with details highlighted in gilt and copper, signed Yoshin koku to the side and the base with punch marks for jungin (pure silver) and a swallow in flight used by the factory of Hattori Kintaro (1860-1934), 18.2cm.
