A PAIR OF JAPANESE INLAID BRONZE VASES

MEIJI 1868-1912

Both decorated with an onagadori (long-tailed cockerel) perched on a flowering branch of prunus, with details inlaid in silver, gilt, copper and shibuichi honzogan, the designs mirroring each other, both with a three character signature to the side reading Mitsufune koku, together with wood stands, the vases 15.3cm. (4)
