The baluster bodies decorated in nunome zogan (gold and silver inlays), both with two fan-shaped and two circular panels containing flowers, birds and landscapes, one with Mount Fuji and another with a temple resembling Kiyomizu-dera, on a silver-inlaid ground of asa-no-ha and other geometric patterns and mon, the neck and foot with a dense pattern of vine leaves, a band of key fret above the foot rim, one with the base marked Kyoto no ju Komai sei (Made by Komai of Kyoto), 9cm.
