Depicting a beauty sitting on a rock and holding a biwa (lute) wrapped in a fabric cover, her hair tied up in an elegant chignon with a small diadem to the front and a ho-ho bird on top, wearing long robes and a vest decorated with a hexagonal cell pattern, the base with a two character seal mark in a red lacquer tablet for Shomin, 11.2cm.
