The tall body raised on four elegant silver feet shaped as curved sections of bamboo, finely decorated with a cockerel perched on a prunus tree with a hen below, the other side with two quails under flowering branches of peony, a small butterfly fluttering above, all in mother of pearl, stained ivory, horn and coral inlays, the silver lid with formal scrolling patterns in cloisonné enamel and topped with a large bird of prey perched on a rock, unsigned, 28.5cm. (3)
