EDO/MEIJI PERIOD

Decorated in red enamel and underglaze blue with flowering sprays of hibiscus growing from rockwork, with woven bamboo fences behind, a delicate spider web above with the arachnid in the centre, the reverse with three beribboned clusters of coins, raised on a tall foot with typical comb pattern, 20.2cm.
