A JAPANESE SATSUMA CUP AND SAUCER BY KINKOZAN

MEIJI 1868-1912

Both decorated with two panels in enamels and gilt on a navy-blue ground with prunus flowers, one containing a samurai kneeling before a hut under a prunus tree, the other with a mother playing the drum to her child in an interior, both signed Kinkozan zo; together with a Satsuma box and cover decorated with a cockerel and two hens amongst tall grasses and flowers, signed Kinzan, 11cm max.
