All decorated with colourful flowers rendered in pale pastel hues; three Sumida ware pieces with an underglaze-blue mark reading Inoue Ryosai.

Sumida ware was produced near the Sumida River, Tokyo, and was run by three generations of potters named Ryosai. The factory closed in the 1950s.
