Of bulbous shape with a short rim, decorated with circles of different sizes rendered in silver and gold leaves on the cornflower blue porcelain ground; together with a tomobako wood box inscribed Yuri ginsai kabin, Kutani Kazuo, with the seal Kazuo.

The yūri-kinsai technique involves cutting silver and gold leaves into patterns and pasting them onto unglazed porcelain, which is then repeatedly fired before the application of a glaze and a final firing.
