Decorated in the style of Kano School paintings with a large tiger seated on its haunches in a bamboo grove, the eyes of the big cat inlaid in light horn, the design in gold takamaki-e and hiramaki-e, the reverse with branches of bamboo rendered in raden mother of pearl inlays, attached to a reticulated ivory ojime carved with many flowerheads, the inro 6.9cm.
