Modelled as a rabbit and a monkey neck-wrestling, the primate depicted in red and gold lacquer with its eyes inlaid with minute mother of pearl and black beads, his opponent in silver lacquer and its eyes inlaid with red beads, unsigned, 3.9cm.
Provenance: an American private collection, purchased 1990s-2010s.
