MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
Of rectangular shape with a hinged cover and raised and four short bracket feet, decorated all over with a diaper pattern enclosing chrysanthemum blooms and four-petal flowers, the feet embellished with scrolling tendrils, the base with the dragonfly mark reading Nihon koku Kyoto ju Komai sei, 4cm x 6.6cm x 9cm.
