A JAPANESE BRONZE VASE BY KYUTARO

TAISHO PERIOD, 20TH CENTURY

Of flattened circular form, raised on a large foot and with a tall neck rising to a flared rim, the sides decorated with exotic birds with long tail feathers and crests perched amongst foliage, the base signed Kyutaro, 31cm.

Provenance: from a deceased estate, Hampshire. Purchased from Brian Harkins on 27th February 2002 for £3,000; a copy of the original invoice is available.
