EDO AND MEIJI PERIOD, 18TH AND 19TH CENTURY
One carved as a reclining tiger licking its back, the other two depicting lion dogs standing on bases, one a seal cut with three characters underneath, the other with a paper collection label reading 'G 232', 4.2cm max. (3)
Provenance: formerly the collection of Sir Sydney Richard Wells, 1st Baronet, D.L., M.P. for Bedford (1879-1957) of Felmersham Grange, Bedfordshire, and thence by descent.
