MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
The first carved as a tiger scratching its ear, its pupils inlaid and its hair finely rendered, signed Masanobu; the second depicting another tiger rolled up in a ball and licking between its legs, its eyes in gold lacquer, signed Kokei; the third depicting two puppies at play, their eyes in dark horn, signed Kikugawa, 4.3cm max.
