An early 20th Century pearl and diamond lavalier necklace, the two drop shaped pearls suspend from platinum knife edge articulated lines of small millegrain set diamonds. The centre section set with a pearl and two button shaped pearls on a fine link platinum neck chain. Fitted case by Mellerio. French control marks to the clasp ring. Accompanied with report number 64117 dated 13th July 2012 from SSEF stating the the largest button shaped pearl weighs 4.806cts and is a natural saltwater pearl. And accompanied with report number 64116 dated 13th July 2012 from SSEF stating that the two drop-shaped pearls weigh 9.217 and 8.158cts and are both natural saltwater pearls. Provenance: Owned by the Count and Countess Stanislas d'Orsetti, Angers, France and then by descent to the current owner.
