A French gem-set Egyptian Revival platinum brooch
A French gem-set Egyptian Revival platinum brooch, millegrain-set overall with circular-cut diamonds and depicting a seated female figure set with emeralds, rubies and sapphires, the figure playing a ladle-shaped harp on a pedestal and to the left, a pierced table with flasks and loaves, to the right, a pierced amalgam of motifs and possibly a hyroglyph, the two motifs above and either side of the musician read as T & M, possibly the initials of the recipient, (one diamond and one coloured-stone missing), French platinum control marks, Austrian import mark, 4.5cm wide
