A large late 19th century butterfly brooch, set with graduated old cushion-shaped diamonds in silver on gold, with ruby cabochon eyes and a futher larger diamond weighing approximately 1.30cts to the body, the wings mounted en tremblant so that they can flap realistically when worn, width 9cm, fitted case
