An intricate gold and pearl necklace by H.G. Murphy, the textured and plain oval links suspend seven graduated gold discs, five set with natural saltwater half-pearls within stylised swirling leaf and spiral motifs and a twisted wirework border in yellow gold, each separated with a fancy twisted gold link set with a natural half-pearl, with maker's plaque HGM to reverse, 18ct and the Falcon studio plaque, 40cm long, in original fitted box
Originally presented by her father as a gift to Angela Scott-Nicholson on her 21st birthday in 1931, and thence by descent to the current owner through four generations on each of their 18th birthdays.
