A collection of fob seals, including a gold-cased early 19th century fob seal mounted with an oval carnelian intaglio carved with a phoenix rising to the sun, ornately decorated with foliate scrolls, the matrix 2.5cm high, a lyre-shaped watch key, a gold fob seal mounted with a bloodstone matrix carved with arms and a motto and the body formed as a pike's head issuing from a coronet, a miniature fob seal with bloodstone matrix engraved with the head of an ancient philosopher, a fob seal mounted with a plain banded agate and the body formed from a cupid, a stirrup-form fob seal mounted with a carnelian matrix engraved with similar arms and motto and with two gold split rings, and a circular gold fob seal mounted with a blank carnelian and surmounted with a recumbent camel
