A George III gold Serjeant-at-Law's ring, the outer band inscribed 'Ung Roy Ung Loy Ung Foy' (One King, One Faith, One Law) between reeded borders in gold, with London hallmarks for 1816, 1cm wide, size P, 3.4g

This is probably one of a handful of rings given out by The Hon. William Firth upon his call to post as Serjeant-at-Law in 1817. See Bayly-Moore, J., 'Reports of Cases Argued and Determined in the Courts... etc', Vol I, (Charles Hunter: 1818), p.1
