Four pairs of paste shoe buckles, late 18th century, comprising: a pair of shoe buckles set with rectangular scissor-cut pastes, case; a pair set with circular-cut colourless and blue pastes and pear-shaped cabochon opaline pastes, case; a pair set with circular-cut and pear-shaped pastes, in a bicoloured mount; and a pair set with shield-shaped and circular-cut pastes, all mounted in silver, largest pair measuring 7.4 x 6.4cm
