A George III mourning ring, the oval glazed locket displays a plant (possibly rose) with a drooping bud painted in sepia, probably on ivory and mounted in gold, 1.3cm high, the gold shank with white enamel decoration carved with the inscription 'Jane Cheale. ob. 25.Mar:1779. AE 19', size K
