Carlo & Arthur Giuliano, a rare sapphire, diamond and enamel necklace, circa 1895-1912, designed as a festoon of leaves applied with green basse-taille enamel, set with circular-cut, cushion-shaped and oval sapphires of various hues, and circular-cut diamonds, to a bail suspending a pale pear-shaped sapphire, the chain necklace composed of spectacle-set cabochon sapphires, spaced by pairs of green-enamelled leaves, mounted in gold, pendant length 9.3cm, chain length 43cm, pendant signed C&AG, chain unsigned, two oval sapphires replaced with blue pastes, chain possibly later extended
