Spring is finally here, and with it comes our April sale of Fine Jewellery, featuring 825 lots, to be sold across two days on the 24th and 25th April.

A trio of beautiful unheated Burmese rubies headline the sale, including our cover lot - a spectacular Art Deco 5.66 carat ruby and diamond ring (lot 825), while a sublime Art Deco natural pearl and diamond necklace by Boucheron (lot 824) leads a strong selection of natural pearls. Other early 20th century highlights include a delicate Belle Epoque diamond and black silk choker by Cartier (lot 822), a sapphire and diamond double clip brooch by Mauboussin (lot 810), and a Cartier pocket watch and vesta case, circa 1908 (lot 698).

For collectors of 18th and 19th century jewels, an excellent 18th century ‘Queen Anne’ paste necklace and brooch (lot 794), a sapphire and diamond devant de corsage (lot 823), a floral multicoloured sapphire, enamel and diamond necklace by Carlo & Arthur Giuliano (lot 433) and an exquisite multi-gem sarpech brooch (lot 415) will certainly be among the many pieces of interest, as will a newly rediscovered bowenite carving of a kingfisher by Fabergé (lot 687).

Lovers of modern branded jewels and accessories will also find a large collection of wristwatches by brands such as Rolex, Cartier, Chopard and Patek Philippe, a range of luxury handbags from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Fendi and Dior, as well as modern jewels by Cartier, Vhernier, Pomellato and Bulgari among the many lots on offer, meaning that there is truly something for everyone in this April sale.
