A gem set gold bodkin case with grey guillioche enamel decoration, the body applied with two colour gold swags, each set with a cabochon ruby and with two colour gold laurel border to the base. The cover applied with Cyrillic N, set with rose cut diamonds above a II and all within a two colour gold tied swag beneath a bow. The top applied with a ruby and diamond set crown within pellet border. The base with spurious marks, with further marks to the inside of the cover, possibly modern Russian marks. 14.5cm high.
