A gold pair-cased pocket watch

A gold pair-cased pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and gold hands. The lever movement (converted from a verge) with elaborate scroll-pierced balance cock and diamond end stone. Signed Fra Perigal, Royal Exchange, 20711. The case stamped with duty mark, with initials WQ and repeated number. Damaged blue and white enamel decoration to the border of the outer case, repeated maker's initials and London marks for 1794. Loose back plate stripped of enamel. 4.8cm wide. Leather case.
