An Art Deco French silver gilt square-shaped box

An Art Deco French silver gilt square-shaped box, the hinged cover with gold lacquer decoration on black enamel ground. Centred with an elaborate basket of flowers within a circle, and quartered with similar foliate motifs. Red enamelled sides and thumb piece. Obscure French control marks, maker's lozenge JT (2), and numbered 4397 (2). 8.5cm wide.
