A gold circular box

A gold circular box, the detachable cover mounted with Bristol glass and verre églomisé style gold decoration depicting a vase with flowers and two butterflies. Two pellet borders and repeated decoration to the glass-mounted base, centred with a butterfly, and with conforming double pellet border. Unidentified mark to base rim. Circa 1775. 7.5cm diameter. Fitted case by Lavender.
