A LATE 19TH CENTURY GOLD LOCKET, decorated with a heart set with a pear-shaped emerald within a border of rose-cut diamonds, opening to reveal a lock of hair, on a loop-in-loop chain, inscribed Glaube, Liebe, Hoffnung and den 24ten. Juli 1863, partial Austrian maker’s and assay marks, locket width 2.5cm, chain length 10cm
