A LATE 19TH CENTURY GEM-SET INSECT BROOCH
A LATE 19TH CENTURY GEM-SET INSECT BROOCH, designed as a stylised fly, its body composed of a baroque pearl below an emerald cabochon within a surround of old cushion-cut diamonds, with ruby eyes and diamond-set wings, mounted in silver and gold, length 2.3cm
A verbal report from GCS (5786-0069) states that the pearl is saltwater but otherwise undeterminable
