A PAIR OF GOLD AND ENAMEL CUFFLINKS, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each with a large rectangular front terminal set with the cypher 'TAE' below a coronet detailed in red enamel, linked to a bar back terminal, terminal width 1.8cm, gross weight 9.3g, case with cypher of Augusta Victoria of Hohenzollern and stamped H.J. Wilm
The cypher on the case is that of Augusta Victoria of Hohenzollern (1890-1966). The daughter of William, Prince of Hohenzollern (1968-1927) and Princess Maria Theresa of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (1867-1909), she married her first husband in 1913, Manuel Maria Filipe Carlos Amélio Luís Miguel Rafael Gabriel Gonzaga Francisco de Assis Eugénio de Saxe-Coburgo-Gotha e Bragança (1889-1932), the last king of Portugal. Following his death, in 1939, she married Count Robert Douglas von Langenstein (1880-1955).
