A late Victorian 'Revelations' bracelet by Giuliano

A late Victorian 'Revelations' bracelet by Giuliano, the gold bracelet mounted with pearl-centred openwork oval panels decorated with black and white enamel each joined with a gemstone. The stones refer to the Building of Paradise described in the Book of Revelations in the New Testament and include jasper, sapphire, chalcedony, emerald, sardonyx, sard, chrysolite, beryl, topaz, chrysoprase, jacinth and amethyst. The clasp marked C.& A.G. for Carlo and Arthur Giuliano. 16.5cm. With case marked 'C. Giuliano, 115 Piccadilly' but missing fitted compartment. Circa 1900.
