A Russian sapphire and diamond brooch

A Russian sapphire and diamond brooch, the oval-shaped sapphire is set within a surround of circular and single-cut diamonds within pierced diamond-set foliate border in silver and gold. Marked 56 zolotnik and FP. 3.6cm wide.

Accompanied by report number 5776-4781 dated 3rd March 2016 from GCS, London stating that the oval-shaped sapphire weighs approximately 14.2cts and is a natural sapphire with no evidence of treatment observed. Origin: Sri Lanka
