A late 19th century diamond-set gold and enamel cross pendant, the Latin cross fleurée with polychrome enamel foliate decoration. Centred with a rose-cut diamond and with diamond-set stylised fleur-de-lys quarters and bale. 8.2cm high (without bale).

Attributed to Lucien Falize. Cf: Katherine Purcell, Falize A Dynasty of Jewellers, Thames and Hudson1999, P. 245 for a box applied with similar cream coloured enamel embellished with translucent enamel floral details in similar colours, P.258 for a bracelet applied with a very similar enamelled motif.
