An agate intaglio ring, Roman, 2nd-1st century BC and circa 1820, set with an oval intaglio in brown agate depicting Athena with a serpent at her feet, to an early 19th century gold mount, its shoulders and band carved with a design of flowers, size K, intaglio 1.3 x 1.0cm

Accompanied by report number 5785-0404 from GCS dated 11th November 2024 stating that the stone is natural agate
