A Russian gold lorgnette. The handle with foliate decoration and set with cabochon sapphires and rose cut diamonds with white enamel bifurcated top section. The spring loaded lenses are released by a small laurel band. Indistinctly signed HW with Kokoshnik to the suspension ring. Stamped with kokoshnik and 56 inside the spring. 13.5cm long.
