A ruby and diamond ring by Cartier (monture), the oval-shaped ruby weighs 5.49 carats and is set with three marquise-shaped diamonds to each shoulder in platinum. Signed Cartier Monture, with French control marks. Size M 1/2. With Cartier box.

Accompanied by report number 54731 dated 19th October 2009 from SSEF Switzerland stating that the antique cushion shaped ruby weighs 5.498 carats with red of rather strong saturation, no indication of heating. Origin: Burma.
